Physical Description: Atani Nyth glides with the grace that betrays her dancing background. When on duty, she wears a long red skirt with a split up the side that reveals her long legs and is often caught wandering around shoeless. Her long blond hair curls just under her ample breasts which are barely contained by the tight sleeveless, top she wears. Not easily missed for her attire or her height, she is tall and lithe. Her blue-grey eyes dance with mirth and her full lips grant all a generous smile. She has a few light brown spots around her hair line from her Trill background, but they go no further. Her nimble hands and long arms balance easily the trays of drinks and food, occasionally doing bar tricks for the entertainment of all.

General Overview: Atani's welcoming smile and blithe nature put most people in the Starlight Lounge at ease. She floats from table to table collecting glasses, telling jokes or offering a sympathetic ear.

Strengths & Weaknesses: Atani is a good observer, judge of character, talented dancer and gymnast. She also pours a mean drink with a flourish and a smile. Atani has a shoulder for almost anyone to cry on, but carries a strict look but don't touch policy at work. She abhors physical violence and considers jealousy a character flaw. Atani is also prone to whimsy.

Personal History: Atani Nyth grew up on Nelphia (Argelius II) as the daughter of a renowned dancer, Imory, and a traveling Trill, Brair Nyth. Learning to dance and entertain under her mother's tutelage, Atani grew in grace and proved to be an adept gymnast as well. Atani never felt completely at peace on Nelpha, she always longed for something more. She looked to the stars and saw adventure. After her mother's death, Atani left on the first space craft out of Argelius II, a Ferengi spacecraft with a contract to work as a Dabo girl. Working for Grul aboard a Ferengi casino vessel as a Dabo girl and dancer, Atani honed her listening skills and developed a vast drink repertoire based on species. After five years and three trips around the alpha quadrant and two in the gamma, Atani grew tired of the oo-mox she was required by contract to give Grul and finally during one long ear-rubbing session convinced him to release her from her contract. Irate and secretly impressed at her guile, Grul released her when they docked at Deep Space Four. The Director of Civilian Affairs gave her a job working at the lounge as a bartender, with an occasional dance recital.
